Rowley Hall MUGA Football Pitch
Take a look at the transformation undergone by the EGCG team at this school in Birmingham.
A boring grass field is an area just crying out for a EGCG transformation. Originally designed as a green football pitch our design team worked very closely with the customer to give them a truly unique area which was changed to our play blue grass ideal for a range of sports to be played all year round.
The EGCG team begin the process by precisely marking out all the posts and goal ends whilst the area is being dug off. Then through the assist of a auger drill they start to dig the holes ready for the fencing.
Day 2 & 3
The next phase of the install includes the building of the timber batten edges and the cementing in of the metal posts ready for the rebound panel. Then the team will work on moving the base material to the area ready for ready for com packing using a bomag to create a perfectly flat finish.
Day 4 & 5
Once the ground is prepared the installation of our play blue grass is ready and the cutting in of the lines begin to get that realistic football pitch feel. The remainder of the 3m high rebound mesh panels are clipped into place and the final preparation is done ready for the handover, including all inspections of edges and joins.
